Your EU Responsible Person under the General Product Safety Regulation
The obligation under Article 16 GPSR applies to consumer products placed on the EU market that are not already covered by an EU-based manufacturer, importer, authorised representative or fulfilment service provider.
If yes, continue. If your company is established in the EU or EEA, the Responsible Person role is likely already covered internally.
Amazon, Etsy, eBay, Shopify or direct sales all count. If you sell only through an EU-based distributor who takes on importer obligations, check with them first.
If not, or if you are not sure, you likely need an EU Responsible Person before these products can stay on the EU market.
