Your EU Responsible Person under the General Product Safety Regulation
Since 13 December 2024, every distance-sales offer of a consumer product to EU consumers must show specific safety and traceability information - on your own shop and on every marketplace.
The information must be displayed in the offer in a clear and visible way - not only on request or after the order. Upload the manufacturer and Responsible Person details, product images and warning text for each EU storefront you sell in.
That is why marketplaces ask sellers for Responsible Person details and can suspend listings that lack them. Requirements differ between marketplaces and change over time - check your seller account. See also GPSR for Amazon, Etsy, eBay and Shopify sellers.
